Right to die

Every year about 45% of americans who suffer from a terminal illness. As, of now the right to die or “dying with dignity” (other wise known as Euthanasia) is legal in 6 states such as; Washington, California, Colorado, Oregon, Vermont, and Hawaii. This is an option that should be offered to patients who have no other choice that isn’t just hospice,( hospice is a kind of service that allows the patient to die as comfortable as possible). With this law it’s an option that should be offered to patients who suffer from terminal illness because it offers a pain free death, they can also die with dignity, and this also gives them a chance to say their final goodbyes to their loved ones.

First, this option is that its a pain free death. They get to live a happier with the time they have left. Whatever remains for them to enjoy and not be sad or to not feel any pain at all. They wouldn’t have to suffer at all. At the end they can leave peacefully.
Second, they can die with dignity; as someone gets sicker they can begin to depend on someone else to do their personal things and to stop taking care of themselves. They no longer can bathe, clean, or take care of their personal needs. That’s why with this you’ll be your own person you won’t have to depend on anyone else. No one would have to take care of you.You wouldn’t be anyone else’s responsibility you wouldn’t put that burden upon anyone. You can also enjoy the freedom you’d have at the very last bit.

Finally, you wouldn’t be worried or stressed about when the last time would be to say goodbye. In a way you won’t be shocked at what was going to happen or when it was going to happen. The family would be able to arrange a peaceful goodbye to the patient. A Lot more of awesome family time and that way you get to spend some extra time. It’s something you get to enjoy the last bit of time you got left.

In conclusion, if 45% of americans suffer from terminal illnesses they should be in their right to decide for themselves or with their family members and a professional. nobody should have to see their loved one suffering from any extent. That’s why the “right to die” or Dying with dignity” should be an offered option to patients that are suffering from terminal illness because it offers a pain free death, they can also die with dignity ,and this also gives them a chance to say their final goodbyes to their loved ones.
