This is the Onterie Center in Chicago designed by Fazlur Khan. It was similar with the structural design of 780 Third Avenue. The x formations that was made up of concrete infill panels and the diagonal base structure were visually seen in the building which acts together to form a truss tube that also makes the structure aesthetically pleasing. Instead of making it a window to make it uniform, Fazlur Khan developed a design in which the components used served as the building’s aesthetics and that is to form an X formation. Also, tall building designs must have the natural important aspects such as the gravity, wind, and earthquakes. It should stand firm against these natural calamities to ensure the safety of the users or visitors that will go to this structure.
